General terms and conditions of sale

These general terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) apply to all sales concluded between GLOSSENCIA SRL and its professional customers through the website www.glossencia.com. Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms, to the exclusion of the customer’s own terms and conditions.

2. Professional customers

  • The website is reserved for professionals: beauty salons and professionals, resellers, physical and online shops, with a valid VAT number in the European Union.
  • The customer acts in the course of its business. Consumer law provisions do not apply.

3. Pro account

  • Access to prices and ordering requires a pro account. Applications are made through the Pro area page.
  • GLOSSENCIA checks the company details (VAT number, Crossroads Bank for Enterprises) and activates access within 24-48 h.
  • GLOSSENCIA may refuse an application or suspend an account, in particular in the event of inaccurate information or use that does not comply with these Terms.
  • Login details are personal. The customer is responsible for orders placed from its account.

4. Prices

  • Prices are shown in euros, excluding VAT.
  • Belgian VAT of 21% for customers established in Belgium. For a customer established in another European Union country with a valid VAT number: 0% (reverse charge).
  • The applicable prices are those in force when the order is confirmed. GLOSSENCIA may change them at any time.
  • Prices are reserved for professional customers and may not be disclosed to third parties.

5. Orders

  • Orders are placed on the website, from the customer’s pro account.
  • Minimum order: €50 excl. VAT. No minimum per item (from 1 piece).
  • Products are offered while stocks last. If a product is no longer available after the order, the customer is informed and the corresponding amount is refunded.
  • GLOSSENCIA may refuse or cancel an order in the event of a previous dispute, suspected fraud or inaccurate information.

6. Payment

  • Payment is due when ordering, by Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard or bank transfer.
  • No fee is added depending on the payment method.
  • No order is shipped before full payment is received. For bank transfers, the order is prepared as soon as the amount is received in GLOSSENCIA’s account.
  • For pick-up by appointment in Brussels, the order is handed over only against full payment, at the latest at the time of pick-up.
  • No payment terms are granted, except with prior written agreement.

7. Shipping and delivery

  • Delivery in Belgium. For another European Union country, on request at info@glossencia.com.
  • Orders are dispatched within 24-48 h (working days) after payment is received. Carrier delivery times are indicative.
  • Free delivery in Belgium from €150 excl. VAT. Below that amount, shipping costs are calculated based on the parcel weight and shown before payment.
  • Free pick-up available by appointment in Brussels.
  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address. Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.

8. Receipt and claims

  • The customer checks the order upon receipt.
  • Any damaged product or product not matching the order must be reported within 24 h of receipt, by email to info@glossencia.com, with a photo of the product and the parcel.
  • GLOSSENCIA reviews each request and gets back to the customer as soon as possible. After this period, the order is deemed accepted.

9. Returns

  • Sales to professionals are firm and final. The right of withdrawal, reserved for consumers, does not apply.
  • Only damaged or non-conforming products reported within the period set out in article 8 are reviewed.

10. Retention of title

Products remain the property of GLOSSENCIA until full payment of the price.

11. Resale

  • Products are authentic and come from official channels. Proof of purchase is available on request.
  • The customer resells the products under its own responsibility, in their original packaging, and in compliance with the regulations applicable to cosmetic products.
  • Brand names and product images belong to their respective owners.

12. Liability

GLOSSENCIA’s liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned. GLOSSENCIA cannot be held liable for indirect damage (loss of turnover, customers, etc.), nor for delays caused by the carrier or force majeure.

13. Personal data

Data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.

14. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Brussels.

15. Changes to the Terms

GLOSSENCIA may change these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of the order.
